Heaped Capacity (ISO 7451)
The volume a bucket holds with the load heaped above the rim, rated to ISO 7451. SAE J296 rates it the same way. Every bucket capacity on this site is heaped.
Heaped capacity is the volume a bucket holds when the load is heaped above the rim, not only filled level with it. It is rated to ISO 7451, the ISO standard for the volume of excavator buckets. SAE J296 rates it the same way, so the two figures can be compared.
On sieruta.com every bucket capacity is heaped to ISO 7451: in the model tables, on the datasheets and on the fit pages. The column head names the unit and the standard: Heaped capacity ISO 7451 [dm³]. 1 dm³ is 1 litre.
The volume level with the rim (struck capacity) is smaller. When you compare our buckets with another maker's, compare heaped figures with heaped figures.
