  • 0.9–40 tons

Pin-grabber quick-coupler using factory brackets: it picks up the excavator manufacturer’s own bracket, and the variable pin-centre models let one coupler take OEM attachments with different pin spacing. Fully automatic hydraulic (QC-PG), mechanical by wrench (QC-ML-M, wrench included) and hydraulic tilt/swivel (QC-U-PG) versions are available across ten sizes, from 0.9 t carriers to 40 t machines.

  • Automatic: hydraulic pin-grab quick-coupler with three locks

    • Front Mechanical Safety Lock: the bucket does not fall if the rear is not engaged
    • Rear Mechanical Safety Lock: a stiff spring keeps it engaged
    • Third Hydraulic Lock: pilot operated check valve
    • Visual Indicator of coupler state.

  • Manual: mechanical pin-grab quick-coupler operated by wrench

    • Mechanical action operated by wrench (included).
    • Less expensive than the automatic model.

  • Tilt/Swivel: pin-grab quick-coupler, hydraulic and mechanical models

    • Movement: Tilts and swivels the attachment into its working position.
    • Hydraulic Operation: tilt angle by size. 180° on QC-U-PG-40 to 60; 100°, 140° or 180° on QC-U-PG-65; 100° or 140° on QC-U-PG-70 to 90; 100° on QC-U-PG-100
    • Variable Pin Centre Design: picks up OEM attachments with different pin spacing.
    • Mechanical version: for carriers without a spare hydraulic circuit.
    • Safety: Front and rear mechanical locks, a pilot operated check valve and a visual indicator of coupler state hold the attachment.

About this family

Safety: front mechanical lock so the attachment does not fall if the rear has not engaged, rear mechanical lock, a third hydraulic lock through a pilot operated check valve, and a visual indicator of coupler state. Weight and dimensions depend on the excavator model. The figures in the table are from the catalogue, which gives them as approximate.

Safety

Attachment not fully engaged
  • The front mechanical safety lock holds the attachment, so it does not fall if the rear has not engaged.
  • A visual indicator shows the operator whether the coupler has engaged.
Loss of hydraulic pressure
  • A pilot operated check valve works as a further hydraulic lock on the coupler.
Accidental release
  • The rear mechanical safety lock keeps the coupler engaged.

Every quick coupler is tested before dispatch.
