The whole range: Excavator buckets
The UB bucket digs a trench with a U-shaped bottom, cut to profile in a single pass. That suits pipe laying, foundation work and utility installations, where a flat-bottomed trench has to be shaped by hand or partly filled back in.
About this family
U-Line Buckets dig a trench with a U-shaped bottom in a single pass.
U-Line buckets are for projects that need U-shaped trenches.
Cutting the trench to shape in one pass means less backfilling and less handwork. It also moves less spoil, so there is less material to haul away.
Teeth are available in the CAT J series, BYG Futura and ESCO UltraLok systems, so the teeth can be matched to the ground. The bucket fits direct or on the S, MS, CW, OQ, Martin and SW brackets.
Features
- U-shaped profile: Digs trenches with an even U-shaped bottom, for pipe laying, foundation work and utility lines.
- Trench shape in one pass: The trench is dug to its final shape in a single pass, so there is less backfilling and handwork.
- Reduced Material Handling: The U shape digs out only the trench profile, so less excess soil is excavated and hauled away.
- Available teeth systems: CAT J series, BYG Futura, ESCO UltraLok

Which coupler is on your machine?
Pick the system on your machine and we put it in your enquiry. We check the bracket before we send the quote.
How to measure your coupler
Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.
- Measure the diameter of both pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.
If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.
