The RGPL skeleton bucket is for mini-excavators. It is based on our GPL bucket, with horizontal steel rods in place of a solid bottom plate.
About this family
This skeleton bucket is for mini-excavators from 1.2 to 10 tons and is built on our GPL bucket in a compact size. It has a bent top section for digging, and a recessed bracket is available for various bracket systems. The bottom is made with rods, ribs or a perforated plate. Teeth can be bolted, CAT, BYG or ESCO.
The skeleton digging bucket for a mini-excavator is based on the GPL bucket. It sorts and separates materials such as rocks, debris and aggregates.
The frame is steel. Small material falls through the rods and larger pieces stay in the bucket, so you can separate debris from soil or sand.
Water drains out between the rods, which helps in wet conditions, for beach cleaning and in saturated soil.
Without a solid bottom plate the RGPL is lighter than a solid bucket, so the machine carries less weight at long reach.
Use it to sift demolition debris, turn compost or prepare garden beds. It comes in several sizes for different mini-excavator models.
Tell us your machine and quick-coupler system, and our team confirms the size and mounting before production.
Features
- Steel Frame: A steel frame holds the rods
- Horizontal Steel Rod Design: Fine material and water pass between the rods, larger pieces stay in the bucket
- Reinforced Cutting Edge

Which coupler is on your machine?
Pick the system on your machine and we put it in your enquiry. We check the bracket before we send the quote.
How to measure your coupler
Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.
- Measure the diameter of both pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.
If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.
- Loading machines…
