Land clearing
Rippers and rakes for land clearing and root removal.
10–50 tons
StandardEarthmoving / heavy duty
DB - Heavy duty digging bucket
A digging bucket for most materials, with a rock version for harder ground.
Fits your machine
2.5–30 tons
Standard
DuoRIP - double ripper for root extraction
Two shanks go deep into the ground at once. It rips out root systems, large roots and stumps when land is cleared for a site.
Fits your machine
10–30 tons
Standard
TH - Hydraulic thumb for excavator
The thumb grips against the bucket and folds back against the stick when you do not need it. The excavator picks up and holds rocks, logs, pipes and debris.
Fits your machine
0.7–10 tons
Standard
LR mini - straight land rakes for mini-excavator
Tines instead of a solid shell pull out roots, brush and stones while the soil falls back through. A plot is cleared before levelling without carting away the topsoil.
Fits your machine
0.7–15 tons
Standard
LRS - Short land rakes for mini-excavators
A shorter, narrower land rake for small machines working in tight plots and along boundaries. It pulls out roots and stones and lets the soil fall through.
Fits your machine
11–32 tons
Standard
MR - Heavy duty excavator multi-ripper
The MR multi-ripper enters the ground on several legs at once and breaks up and loosens compacted material.
Fits your machine
1.2–14 tons
Standard
MR mini - multi-ripper for mini-excavator
Multi-rippers for mini-excavators break up hard soil and debris when you prepare a site.
Fits your machine
0.6–10 tons
Standard
PDP mini - skeleton BDP stone bucket
Skeleton bucket for mini and midi excavators, built heavier than a general-purpose bucket. It sieves on site and handles demolition, excavation and loading.
Fits your machine
1.8–16 tons
Standard
RGB - Skeleton rod grading & sorting bucket
A rod floor lets fines fall through while stones, rubble and roots stay in the bucket. Material is sorted, graded and reused on site without a separate screen.
Fits your machine
1.2–10 tons
Standard
RGP - Skeleton rod GP bucket
Parallel Hardox® rods in the universal GP profile let fine material fall through and keep the oversize in the bucket. Screening, loading and sorting happen in one movement.
Fits your machine
1.2–10 tons
Standard
RGPL - Skeleton rod GPL bucket
Built on the GPL bucket, with a bent top section for digging and a recessed bracket as an option. A mini-excavator separates material and cleans up with it.
Fits your machine
1.2–10 tons
Standard
RGPR - Skeleton rod bucket
In the RGPR a bottom of C45 steel rods lets soil and water fall through, while stones, roots and rubble stay in the bucket. Material is sorted as it is dug.
Fits your machine
14–65 tons
Standard
RIP - Heavy duty ripper
A single shank made of high-strength steel, with a protector over the shank. It breaks up hard soil, rock and frozen ground, so the material can then be loaded with an ordinary digging bucket.
Fits your machine
0.8–14 tons
Standard
RIP mini - ripper shank for mini-excavator
Mini-excavator rippers break up hard ground before trenching and foundation work.
Fits your machine
0.6–9 tons
Standard
RRB - Root rake bucket profile
Tines set in a bucket-shaped frame rake out roots and stones, then carry and dump what they collect. Clearing and loading are done in the same pass.
Fits your machine

Configured
RRH - Root rake with hydraulic clamp
A root rake with a hydraulic top clamp: it pulls out roots and holds them against the tines.
Fits your machine
1.2–10 tons
Standard
SGP - Heavy duty skeleton GP bucket
Built on the GP bucket, with a bottom of S355 steel ribs instead of a closed plate. Fine soil and water fall through, and stones, roots and rubble stay in the bucket.
Fits your machine
How to choose
Work through these questions in order, from the roots in the ground to the machine that carries the tool.
- 1
Are there stumps and deep roots in the ground?
The DuoRIP has two shanks that go deep into the ground and rip out root systems, so it clears large roots and stumps. Its teeth are standard systems: CAT J series, BYG Super V or ESCO UltraLok. The RIP is a single shank ripper with a protector over the shank. It cuts roots and lifts stumps, and the ripped material stays where it is until you load it with an ordinary digging bucket. On a mini excavator, the RIP mini pulls roots and works as a frost hook in winter.
- 2
Is the ground matted with roots or frozen?
A multi-ripper breaks root mats, frost layers and compacted ground in one pass, where a single tooth would only cut a slot. The MR mini does it on a mini excavator, with Hardox® wear plates on the legs. The MR has five legs on a 1300 mm width, so one pass loosens a wider strip, and its teeth are replaceable.
- 3
Do you want to keep the topsoil?
A land rake has tines in place of a solid shell. It pulls out roots, brush and stones while the soil falls back through, so you clear the plot before levelling without carrying away the topsoil. The LR mini is the straight rake. The LRS is the short one, for tight plots and work along boundaries.
- 4
Do you only rake, or also carry the load away?
The RRB sets its tines in a bucket-shaped frame, so it rakes out roots and stones and can still carry and dump what it collects. Use it when clearing and loading are the same job. The RRH has a hydraulic top clamp that holds brush, roots and debris against the tines, so you lift, carry and place the load. For logs, the TH thumb on the dipper stick grips them against the bucket and folds back against the stick when you do not need it.
- 5
Is there soil to sort from roots and stones?
A skeleton bucket lets soil and water fall through while stones, roots and rubble stay in the bucket. The RGPR has C45 steel rods 52 to 62 mm apart, and the SGP has S355 steel ribs in the bottom. The RGPL is lighter than a solid bucket, so the machine carries less weight at long reach, and it handles light forestry work and root removal.
- 6
Which machine carries it?
Match the tool to the machine. On mini excavators: the LR mini, the LRS, the MR mini, the RIP mini and the RGPL. On mini and midi excavators: RGPR-20 to RGPR-95 and SGP-20 to SGP-95 from 1.2 to 10 t. On excavators: Duo-Ripper-6 to Duo-Ripper-30 from 2.5 to 30 t, TH-16 to TH-30 from 10 to 30 t, MR-17 to MR-32 from 11 to 32 t and Ripper-C to Ripper-H from 14 to 65 t. Ask us for the RRB and RRH that fit your machine.
Attachments by job
Clearing land goes from the roots up: rip them out, rake the plot, carry the brush away.
Stumps and root systems
The DuoRIP goes deep with two shanks and rips out root systems. The RIP cuts roots and lifts stumps.
Clearing a plot and keeping the topsoil
A land rake pulls out roots, brush and stones while the soil falls back through. LR mini, or LRS for tight plots and boundaries.
Brush and roots to carry away
The RRH grab holds the load so it can be lifted and placed. The RRB rakes, and it can also carry and dump. The TH thumb holds logs against the bucket.
Root mats and frozen ground
A multi-ripper breaks them up in one pass. MR mini on a mini excavator, MR on a larger one.
