The MR multi-ripper breaks compacted ground with five legs at once rather than one point, so a single pass loosens a wider strip and leaves smaller pieces to load. It works in frozen ground, hard layers and compacted clay, prepares rock for the crusher, pulls roots in land clearing and is used for selective demolition.
About this family
MR multi-rippers for large excavators
Four sizes cover machines from 11 to 32 t: the MR-17 for 11 to 17 t weighs 415 kg, the MR-22 for 18 to 22 t weighs 546 kg, the MR-26 for 23 to 26 t weighs 734 kg and the MR-32 for 27 to 32 t weighs 994 kg. Every size is 1300 mm wide and carries five legs. Leg thickness is 40 mm on the MR-17, 50 mm on the MR-22 and MR-26 and 60 mm on the MR-32, with leg spacing of 264, 252, 252 and 240 mm.
The teeth are replaceable and come in the CAT J series, BYG Futura and ESCO UltraLok systems, from J250, V19 or U20 on the smallest size to J400, V39 or U40 on the largest. It mounts direct or on S60 and S70, MS10 to MS25, CW20 to CW45, OQ60 to OQ70-55, M18, M26, S1 to S3 and SW33 to SW48 brackets.
Features
- High Penetration Power: The shank design breaks up tough soil, rock and frozen ground.
- Increased Fragmentation: MR Multi-Rippers create smaller, more manageable material for faster processing and loading.
- Multi-Tooth Design: Five teeth break up the ground at the same time
- Adaptable to Various Soil Conditions: Works in frozen ground, hard layers and compacted clay
- Wear-Resistant Construction: Legs 40 to 60 mm thick, with replaceable teeth
- Stress distribution: Minimizes wear on both attachment and excavator
- Mounting: Built for the machine and quick-coupler system named in your order
- Available teeth systems: CAT J series, BYG Futura, ESCO UltraLok

Standard
RIP - heavy duty ripper
A single shank made of high-strength steel, with a protector over the shank. It breaks up tough soil, rock and frozen ground, so the material can then be loaded with an ordinary digging bucket.

Standard
DuoRIP - double ripper for root extraction
Two shanks go deep into the ground at once. It rips out root systems, large roots and stumps when land is cleared for a site.

RC - root cutter
Three sizes, from 13 to 47 kg, each fitting the quick-coupler brackets in its table. It cuts roots on excavators from 0.6 to 10 t.

Standard
RRB - root rake bucket profile
Tines set in a bucket-shaped frame rake out roots and stones, then carry and dump what they collect. Clearing and loading are done in the same pass.

RRH - root rake with hydraulic clamp
A root rake with a hydraulic top clamp: it pulls out roots and holds them against the tines.

LR mini - straight land rakes for mini-excavator
Tines instead of a solid shell pull out roots, brush and stones while the soil falls back through. A plot is cleared before levelling without carting away the topsoil.
