Pick the system on your machine and we put it in your enquiry. We check the bracket before we send the quote.
How to measure your coupler
Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.
- Measure the diameter of both pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.
If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.
Before you order: check the interface
The weight class of the JCB JS180 sizes the attachment. It does not tell you the pin diameter, the pin spacing or the stick width, and those decide whether an attachment fits. Measure them on the machine, or send us the measurements of the bucket it runs today.
At this weight the choice is mostly about the material. A general purpose bucket suits soil and gravel, a reinforced bucket with thicker wear parts suits mixed ground and broken rock, and the quick coupler on the machine sets the bracket every attachment needs.
Quick coupler brackets at this weight
In our model tables, the attachments listed for the JCB JS180 at its weight are built with these brackets. Each code opens the models that list it.
- Measure the diameter of both bucket pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the inside width between the stick ears.
- If the machine runs a quick coupler, note its make and type.

What the JS180 figures mean for its attachments
- The main pump delivers up to 328 l/min at 314 bar. That is the pump output of the whole machine, not the flow an attachment gets.
- It digs down to 6,090 mm. That is the deepest trench it can open.
- Its maximum reach is 9,094 mm.
- It dumps at up to 8,672 mm, so a truck or skip side has to sit below that height.
- JCB offers arms from 2,250 to 3,050 mm. A longer arm reaches further, a shorter one handles a heavier bucket.
- JCB lists buckets from 457 to 1,219 mm wide for this machine. Our sizes in that range: DB - heavy duty digging bucket (DB-230); DBF - flat-top digging bucket for quick coupler (DBF-230); DSX - Nordic heavy duty digging bucket (DS-HD-250); CB - heavy duty hydraulic clamp bucket (CBR-260)
- JCB lists bucket capacities from 0.27 to 0.87 m³.
- For transport it measures 8,415 x 2,870 x 3,140 mm (length, width, height).
- Engine power is 97 kW.
