Which coupler is on your machine?
Pick the system on your machine and we put it in your enquiry. We check the bracket before we send the quote.
How to measure your coupler
Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.
- Measure the diameter of both pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.
If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.

What the 395 figures mean for its attachments
- The main pump delivers up to 1,064 l/min at 370 bar. That is the pump output of the whole machine, not the flow an attachment gets.
- Caterpillar lists this quick coupler for it: Cat Pin Grabber Coupler. The bracket on every attachment has to match the coupler.
- It digs down to 8,970 mm. That is the deepest trench it can open.
- Its maximum reach is 14,060 mm.
- It dumps at up to 8,960 mm, so a truck or skip side has to sit below that height.
- Caterpillar offers arms from 2,920 to 3,700 mm. A longer arm reaches further, a shorter one handles a heavier bucket.
- Caterpillar lists buckets from 1,750 to 2,300 mm wide for this machine. Compare that with the bucket widths in the table above.
- Caterpillar lists bucket capacities from 3.88 to 6.5 m³.
- For transport it measures 15,110 x 3,690 x 5,160 mm (length, width, height).

Questions about the 395
- What bucket width fits the 395?
- Caterpillar lists buckets from 1,750 to 2,300 mm wide for it. Pick a width in that range from the sizes above.
- Which quick coupler is installed on your 395?
- Caterpillar lists this coupler for it: Cat Pin Grabber Coupler. Order attachments with the matching bracket.
No attachment family in our catalogue is listed above 65 t. For a machine of this weight we make the attachment to order: send us the machine details and our engineers reply with an offer.
Before you order: check the interface
The weight class of the Caterpillar 395 sizes the attachment. It does not tell you the pin diameter, the pin spacing or the stick width, and those decide whether an attachment fits. Measure them on the machine, or send us the measurements of the bucket it runs today.
Heavy excavators dig rock, load trucks and work in quarries, so wear decides the bucket as much as capacity does. Rock and reinforced buckets carry thicker wear steel, teeth and side cutters, and the bucket is sized to the trucks it loads and to the density of the material.
- Measure the diameter of both bucket pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the inside width between the stick ears.
- If the machine runs a quick coupler, note its make and type.
