Which coupler is on your machine?

Pick the system on your machine and we put it in your enquiry. We check the bracket before we send the quote.

How to measure your coupler
Drawing of a bracket with the pin diameter (1), the pin centre distance (2) and the ear width (3) marked

Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.

  1. Measure the diameter of both pins.
  2. Measure the distance between the pin centres.
  3. Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.

If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.

Before you order: check the interface

The weight class of the Caterpillar 350 sizes the attachment. It does not tell you the pin diameter, the pin spacing or the stick width, and those decide whether an attachment fits. Measure them on the machine, or send us the measurements of the bucket it runs today.

Heavy excavators dig rock, load trucks and work in quarries, so wear decides the bucket as much as capacity does. Rock and reinforced buckets carry thicker wear steel, teeth and side cutters, and the bucket is sized to the trucks it loads and to the density of the material.DBS - engineered rock bucket for excavator

Quick coupler brackets at this weight

In our model tables, the attachments listed for the Caterpillar 350 at its weight are built with these brackets. Each code opens the models that list it.

  1. Measure the diameter of both bucket pins.
  2. Measure the distance between the pin centres.
  3. Measure the inside width between the stick ears.
  4. If the machine runs a quick coupler, note its make and type.

What the 350 figures mean for its attachments

  • The main pump delivers up to 779 l/min at 350 bar. That is the pump output of the whole machine, not the flow an attachment gets.
  • Caterpillar lists this quick coupler for it: Cat Pin Grabber Coupler. The bracket on every attachment has to match the coupler.
  • It digs down to 8,210 mm. That is the deepest trench it can open.
  • Its maximum reach is 12,150 mm.
  • It dumps at up to 7,410 mm, so a truck or skip side has to sit below that height.
  • Caterpillar offers arms from 2,500 to 3,900 mm. A longer arm reaches further, a shorter one handles a heavier bucket.
  • Caterpillar lists buckets from 1,350 to 2,000 mm wide for this machine. Our sizes in that range: DB - heavy duty digging bucket (DB-500); SDB - heavy duty skeleton DB bucket (SDB-500); DBF - flat-top digging bucket for quick coupler (DBF-500); RDBF - flat-top skeleton DBF bucket on rods (RDBF-500)
  • Caterpillar lists bucket capacities from 1.87 to 3.6 m³.
  • Bucket breakout force is 268 kN and arm crowd force 183 kN. That is the force a bucket or ripper works with at the tooth.
  • Caterpillar gives a lifting capacity of 23,800 kg. Check a heavy grab or hammer, plus its load, against the full load chart.
  • For transport it measures 11,890 x 3,350 x 3,900 mm (length, width, height).
