The DB is the digging bucket for a full size excavator. Its shell is bent twice, a double radius and double conical shape that holds the digging angle and lets material flow in smoothly.
About this family
DB digging bucket for excavators from 10 to 50 t.
The DB Excavator Digging Bucket digs trenches, foundations and basements, and loads earth, rock and debris. It has a large capacity and a heavy build for hard digging. It is matched to your excavator’s hydraulic system, so you get more work done with less downtime.
Seven sizes cover machines from 10 to 50 t, DB-120 through DB-500, in widths from 400 to 1800 mm and weights from 156 to 1829 kg. Each size is built as Economy up to 24 t, as Standard and as Heavy Duty above 24 t, and a rock version is available.
Teeth come in the CAT J series, BYG Futura and ESCO UltraLok systems. The bucket fits direct or on SW and CW brackets.

DB is for
- Digging and trenching in soil on building and utility sites
- Foundations, basements and site preparation
- Loading and moving bulk material such as soil and rubble
- A size picked from the model table, built as Economy, Standard or Heavy Duty
Choose DBF instead if
- Your excavator changes attachments on a quick coupler and a flat-top bucket suits it
Choose DSX instead if
- You dig rocky ground or abrasive material and want a Nordic profile bucket with a Hardox® body
Choose DBS instead if
- You dig rock and want the bucket designed for your machine and that rock
- Teeth, adapters, side cutters and wear protection should be chosen for your job
- You need a factory acceptance test record with the bucket
