What this category is for
Tools are the attachments that do a job a bucket cannot: open a surface, break ground, pull roots, level a bed or hold a load. Sieruta builds them in Ostrołęka, Poland, from Hardox® and Strenx steel, and the range is grouped here the way the work is grouped on site. Asphalt cutters open a road or a yard along a clean line before the trench is dug, and there are two families, the AC for excavators and the AC mini for mini excavators. Rippers & rakes is the largest group with ten families: single ripper shanks and multi-rippers for frozen ground, hard clay and soft rock, the DuoRIP that takes a stump out whole, the RC root cutter, land rakes for clearing cut brush, and the RRB and RRH root rakes that collect roots while the soil falls back on the plot. Grading beams finish a slope or a bed in long passes, with the GRB for excavators and the GRB mini and GRB light drawn for small carriers. The hydraulic thumb turns the bucket into a grab for pipe, stone and timber. Every family is built for a carrier weight band and takes the same bracket systems as our buckets, so a tool goes on the coupler you already run.

How to choose

Name the job, then take its group
Opening a surface, breaking ground, pulling roots, levelling and holding are five different jobs. Asphalt cutters, rippers & rakes and grading beams each have their own page under this one, and the hydraulic thumb sits directly here. Write down what the crew does most often in a week and the list of candidates usually drops to two.

Stay inside the carrier weight band
A ripper or a grading beam built for a heavier machine will not fail quietly. It overloads the stick, it upsets the balance of a small carrier, and on a beam it puts the work outside the reach the machine was rated for. Each family page names its band.

Check the hydraulics for a powered tool
A hydraulic thumb and a grab root rake need an auxiliary circuit and a control in the cab, while a ripper, a rake or a grading beam is passive and needs nothing. Tell us what the carrier already has and we will say which version it can run.

Match the working width to the site
A wide grading beam finishes a surface in fewer passes but needs room to swing and more machine to carry it; a narrow rake works between plantings. Where access is tight, the smaller model finishes the day sooner than the bigger one.

Order the tool with the bracket you run
Every tool is built with the bracket system of the coupler on your machine, whether that is S, CW, MS or a pin grabber, or as a direct fit on pins. Give us the system and the size on the quote form and it arrives ready to hang.
Questions we are asked
- What is the difference between a ripper and a multi-ripper?
- A single ripper concentrates the whole force of the machine on one tooth and goes deepest in hard ground. A multi-ripper carries several teeth, moves more material per pass and suits looser, stony soil.
- Which tool pulls out stumps and roots?
- The DuoRIP takes a stump or a root ball out whole with two shanks, and the RRB and RRH root rakes collect roots and cut brush while the soil falls back on the plot.
- Can I use a grading beam on a mini excavator?
- Yes. The GRB mini and the lighter GRB light are drawn for mini carriers and keep the beam mass down, which is what lets a small machine work at full reach safely.
- Does a hydraulic thumb need extra plumbing?
- It needs one double-acting auxiliary circuit and a control in the cab. If the carrier has none, we can quote the passive tools that do the nearest job instead.
- Will a tool fit the coupler I already have?
- Yes, if you tell us the system and the size when you ask for the price. We build the bracket for your coupler, and a direct fit on pins is also possible.
