The RIP mini is a ripper shank for mini-excavators. It opens ground a bucket cannot enter: frozen and frost-heaved soil, compacted clay, stony fill, thin concrete and asphalt.
About this family
The shank is shaped for the mini class, so it reaches depth without pulling the machine off balance. Its narrow profile keeps the working point in view, which matters when you rip beside a kerb, a pipe run or a wall.
The tip is replaceable. When it wears you change the tip and not the tool, and you can fit a different tip for a different material.
Ripping forces go into the shank body and a reinforced top plate. Two versions are built: a Hardox® body, or an S355 body with HB wear plates.
The same tool pulls roots in landscaping and works as a frost hook in winter. It mounts on standard quick couplers, so it goes on and off between tasks.
Features
- Shank profile for the mini class: depth without unsettling the machine
- Replaceable tip: change the tip, not the tool, and match the tip to the material
- Narrow profile: the working point stays in view in confined spaces
- One tool, three jobs: breaking, root pulling and frost ripping
- Standard quick couplers: on and off between tasks
Base features:
- Two versions: Hardox® body / S355 body + HB wear pads
- Reinforced top plate
- High-strength ripper teeth
- Dimensions and angle sized for the mini class
Optional features:
- Hardox® wear plates
- Sharpened body
- Other types of teeth
Dimensions
