Which coupler is on your machine?

Pick the system on your machine and we put it in your enquiry. We check the bracket before we send the quote.

How to measure your coupler
Drawing of a bracket with the pin diameter (1), the pin centre distance (2) and the ear width (3) marked

Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.

  1. Measure the diameter of both pins.
  2. Measure the distance between the pin centres.
  3. Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.

If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.

Before you order: check the interface

The weight class of the Caterpillar 301.5 sizes the attachment. It does not tell you the pin diameter, the pin spacing or the stick width, and those decide whether an attachment fits. Measure them on the machine, or send us the measurements of the bucket it runs today.

On a mini excavator the weight of the attachment counts for more than on a larger machine, because every kilogram of bucket is taken from lift capacity and stability. A narrow trenching bucket and a wide grading bucket are the usual pair, and many machines run a small quick coupler to change between them.

Quick coupler brackets at this weight

In our model tables, the attachments listed for the Caterpillar 301.5 at its weight are built with these brackets. Each code opens the models that list it.

  1. Measure the diameter of both bucket pins.
  2. Measure the distance between the pin centres.
  3. Measure the inside width between the stick ears.
  4. If the machine runs a quick coupler, note its make and type.

What the 301.5 figures mean for its attachments

  • Its auxiliary circuit is rated at 33 l/min and 213 bar. A breaker, auger, tilt rotator or other hydraulic tool states the oil flow it needs, so choose one whose range includes this figure.
  • The main pump delivers up to 66 l/min at 213 bar. That is the pump output of the whole machine, not the flow an attachment gets.
  • It digs down to 2,540 mm. That is the deepest trench it can open.
  • Its maximum reach is 3,890 mm.
  • It dumps at up to 2,510 mm, so a truck or skip side has to sit below that height.
  • Caterpillar offers arms from 960 to 1,160 mm. A longer arm reaches further, a shorter one handles a heavier bucket.
  • Caterpillar gives a lifting capacity of 379 kg. Check a heavy grab or hammer, plus its load, against the full load chart.
  • Its tail swing radius is 820 mm, which matters beside a wall or in a live traffic lane.
  • For transport it measures 3,620 x 990 x 2,310 mm (length, width, height).
  • Engine power is 15.7 kW.
