Which coupler is on your machine?
Pick the system on your machine and we put it in your enquiry. We check the bracket before we send the quote.
How to measure your coupler
Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.
- Measure the diameter of both pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.
If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.

What the EC260 figures mean for its attachments
- The main pump delivers up to 480 l/min at 333 bar. That is the pump output of the whole machine, not the flow an attachment gets.
- It digs down to 6,590 mm. That is the deepest trench it can open.
- Its maximum reach is 10,685 mm.
- It dumps at up to 8,445 mm, so a truck or skip side has to sit below that height.
- Volvo offers arms from 2,500 to 3,600 mm. A longer arm reaches further, a shorter one handles a heavier bucket.
- Volvo lists buckets from 600 to 1,740 mm wide for this machine. Compare that with the bucket widths in the table above. Our sizes in that range: DB - heavy duty digging bucket (DB-300, DB-400); SDB - heavy duty skeleton DB bucket (SDB-300, SDB-400); DBF - flat-top digging bucket for quick coupler (DBF-300, DBF-400); RDBF - flat-top skeleton DBF bucket on rods (RDBF-300, RDBF-400); DSX - Nordic heavy duty digging bucket (DS-HD-300, DS-HD-400)
- Volvo lists bucket capacities from 0.56 to 1.76 m³.
- Volvo gives a lifting capacity of 5,010 kg. Check a heavy grab or hammer, plus its load, against the full load chart.
- Its tail swing radius is 3,080 mm, which matters beside a wall or in a live traffic lane.
- For transport it measures 10,215 x 3,190 x 3,110 mm (length, width, height).
- Engine power is 168 kW.

Before you order: check the interface
The weight class of the Volvo EC260 sizes the attachment. It does not tell you the pin diameter, the pin spacing or the stick width, and those decide whether an attachment fits. Measure them on the machine, or send us the measurements of the bucket it runs today.
At this weight the choice is mostly about the material. A general purpose bucket suits soil and gravel, a reinforced bucket with thicker wear parts suits mixed ground and broken rock, and the quick coupler on the machine sets the bracket every attachment needs.
Heavy excavators dig rock, load trucks and work in quarries, so wear decides the bucket as much as capacity does. Rock and reinforced buckets carry thicker wear steel, teeth and side cutters, and the bucket is sized to the trucks it loads and to the density of the material.
Quick coupler brackets at this weight
In our model tables, the attachments listed for the Volvo EC260 at its weight are built with these brackets. Each code opens the models that list it.
- Measure the diameter of both bucket pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the inside width between the stick ears.
- If the machine runs a quick coupler, note its make and type.
