How to measure your coupler
Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.
- Measure the diameter of both pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.
If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.
Before you order: check the interface
The weight class of the Mecalac e12 sizes the attachment. It does not tell you the pin diameter, the pin spacing or the stick width, and those decide whether an attachment fits. Measure them on the machine, or send us the measurements of the bucket it runs today.
At this weight the choice is mostly about the material. A general purpose bucket suits soil and gravel, a reinforced bucket with thicker wear parts suits mixed ground and broken rock, and the quick coupler on the machine sets the bracket every attachment needs.

What the e12 figures mean for its attachments
- Its auxiliary circuit is rated at 120 l/min and 310 bar. A breaker, auger, tilt rotator or other hydraulic tool states the oil flow it needs, so choose one whose range includes this figure.
- The main pump delivers up to 144 l/min at 310 bar. That is the pump output of the whole machine, not the flow an attachment gets.
- Mecalac lists this quick coupler for it: CONNECT coupling system. The bracket on every attachment has to match the coupler.
- It digs down to 4,100 mm. That is the deepest trench it can open.
- Its maximum reach is 7,125 mm.
- It dumps at up to 4,077 mm, so a truck or skip side has to sit below that height.
- Its arm is 2,210 mm long.
