How to measure your coupler
Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.
- Measure the diameter of both pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.
If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.
Before you order: check the interface
The weight class of the Caterpillar 306 CR sizes the attachment. It does not tell you the pin diameter, the pin spacing or the stick width, and those decide whether an attachment fits. Measure them on the machine, or send us the measurements of the bucket it runs today.

- It digs down to 4,110 mm. That is the deepest trench it can open.
- Its maximum reach is 6,535 mm.
- It dumps at up to 4,610 mm, so a truck or skip side has to sit below that height.
- Caterpillar offers arms from 1,580 to 1,980 mm. A longer arm reaches further, a shorter one handles a heavier bucket.
