How to measure your coupler
Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.
- Measure the diameter of both pins.
- Measure the distance between the pin centres.
- Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.
If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.
Before you order: check the interface
The weight class of the Volvo EW65 sizes the attachment. It does not tell you the pin diameter, the pin spacing or the stick width, and those decide whether an attachment fits. Measure them on the machine, or send us the measurements of the bucket it runs today.

What the EW65 figures mean for its attachments
- Its auxiliary circuit is rated at 120 l/min and 225 bar. A breaker, auger, tilt rotator or other hydraulic tool states the oil flow it needs, so choose one whose range includes this figure.
- The main pump delivers up to 120 l/min at 225 bar. That is the pump output of the whole machine, not the flow an attachment gets.
- It digs down to 3,603 mm. That is the deepest trench it can open.
- Its maximum reach is 6,546 mm.
- It dumps at up to 5,597 mm, so a truck or skip side has to sit below that height.
- Volvo offers arms from 1,600 to 1,900 mm. A longer arm reaches further, a shorter one handles a heavier bucket.
