Which coupler is on your machine?

Pick the system on your machine and we put it in your enquiry. We check the bracket before we send the quote.

How to measure your coupler
213

Not sure which system it is? Three measurements tell us which bracket you need.

  1. Measure the diameter of both pins.
  2. Measure the distance between the pin centres.
  3. Measure the width between the inside faces of the ears.

If the coupler has a make or type printed on it, send that too.

Questions about the 6MCR

What bucket width fits the 6MCR?
Mecalac lists buckets from 350 to 900 mm wide for it. Pick a width in that range from the sizes above.
Which quick coupler is installed on your 6MCR?
Mecalac lists this coupler for it: CONNECT coupling system. Order attachments with the matching bracket.

Before you order: check the interface

The weight class of the Mecalac 6MCR sizes the attachment. It does not tell you the pin diameter, the pin spacing or the stick width, and those decide whether an attachment fits. Measure them on the machine, or send us the measurements of the bucket it runs today.

On a mini excavator the weight of the attachment counts for more than on a larger machine, because every kilogram of bucket is taken from lift capacity and stability. A narrow trenching bucket and a wide grading bucket are the usual pair, and many machines run a small quick coupler to change between them.

A midi excavator is often the main machine on a site, trenching, loading and grading in the same day. Buyers usually start with a general purpose bucket, a grading bucket and a quick coupler, then add other tools when the work calls for them.

Quick coupler brackets at this weight

In our model tables, the attachments listed for the Mecalac 6MCR at its weight are built with these brackets. Each code opens the models that list it.

  1. Measure the diameter of both bucket pins.
  2. Measure the distance between the pin centres.
  3. Measure the inside width between the stick ears.
  4. If the machine runs a quick coupler, note its make and type.
